In Portland’s Restaurants, a Down East BanquetA great (great!) article about food in Portland. The food has been one of the best things about living here. It will be what gets us through the winter; trying restaurants and exploring ethnic markets are indoor activities. It's easy to buy local- two farmers markets, a small store down the street that stocks local (Rosemont) and lots of restaurants that promote local food. Community Supported Agriculture is abundant as well, even in the winter. We bought in at Wolf Pine Farm.
Check out the article's slide show and then come visit us...most the places are within walking distance from our place.

cool! I was going to do a farm produce weekly thing, but it was too pricey around here. that is great.
That looks like scallops...whatever it is, it looks delicious. Wish I could explore with you. Love you guys.
Hey did you stop cooking or something. You'd think you were teaching seminary and holding down a full time job or something.
