It happens. That's why it's food trials.
Zucchini Pizza from Moosewood. Worked once, but this time it just was not setting up like a crust should. Everyone at the potluck we brought it to was very nice, but it was weird.
Started out well- shredded cheese and zucchini with some flour and egg substitute for a delicate crust.
Ended up gooey (even after prolonged baking). Dont let the picture fool you, it was mush. Which we then topped with tomatoes and cheese for a final product of zucchini cheese dip.
Possible Problems: should have squeezed zucchini dry first? added more four? Used real eggs? Used a different pan (last time it worked we used just a cookie sheet)? Oven not hot enough? Oven too hot? Too long? Trying to have something done by a set time...?

wynn oh how i love your new blog!! I am taking my second nutrition class right now and i freakin am obsessed. Lately we have been talking about that whole corn subsidizing stuff you posted about earlier. I am excited to read all your posts and recipes and you can be sure ill be trying them out!
WYNN! I'm sorry but I'm obsessed with your blog. Jardan and I are vegetarians (much to my parents' bewilderment HAHA) and it's nice to get some new recipes and see your view on things. I'm especially SO GRATEFUL for your tofu comment...I've had a hard time getting it just right! Miss you.
I think squeezing the liquid from the zuc. would help. But it could have passed off as a delish hot dip. I am hungry and it looks good to me. Keep those pix coming. Love the blog dear.
I can vouch for the taste...it was scrumptious.
